The development consists of three distinct elements being the Twisted Towers (three towers between 44 and 55 stories), the Floating Sky Villas and the Terraced Podium housing a total of 437 one to four bedroom apartments, 52 villas and 16 penthouses.
Facilities include a health club and spa, swimming pools and other recreational amenities. A boardwalk will host cafes, restaurants and other leisure facilities at the water's edge.
The development is constructed on a reclaimed island of 35,000 m2 and the gross built up area is approximately 280,000 m2.

Durability engineering Villamar at the Harbour stands apart from other similar developments. The structure has been specifically engineered to cope with the extreme temperatures and humidity experienced in the Gulf to provide a 50 year service life without major maintenance.
COWI conducted in-depth laboratory testing of actual project concrete mixes and recommended cover requirements and additional protective measures based on each individual elements exposure conditions, ease of repair and structural importance. This will be the first structure in Bahrain to have undergone this process.
